lot of people have asked me where they can get The Tick on VHS or VCD,
and about the only place I've found them is eBay!
 .
Here's a list of what's available there.
I
was looking for Tick comics online and I thought I'd see what Tick items
Amazon had online. Some of this is good stuff, but not all of it. I'm
personally surprised by how much of this stuff is new to me; I had thought
that I knew about most of the Tick items out there and a lot of this
Fox stuff is completely unknown to me. Unfortunately, it seems like
a lot of this stuff is now only available used. Oh, well...if anyone
has information on the items below that I don't know about, please let
me know (especially if they're worth having). Thanks!

The details are out on the Tick vs. Season Two DVD. Similar to the season one DVD this one has all season two episodes but one - in this case they left off #15, Alone Together. I'm not sure why they are dropping a single episode off each of the first two DVD's - it might be a space issue or they're going to release a collector's edition or something like that in the distant future. In any case, the current release date is August 7th 2007 and you can pre-order it on Amazon for $24.99 already here - The Tick vs. Season Two .
No news yet about whether or not these episodes will be cut and Disney-fied, but I'm assuming they will be. Better than nothing, though! And if enough people buy it through this link I'll be able to retire! Just joking. I'm actually going to use any commissions from this link to try to round out my Tick comic collection so I can finish reviewing those. |

The details are out on the Tick DVD! It will contain all season one episodes but #11 - The Tick vs. The Mole Men. You can order it on Amazon for $34.99 - The Tick (The Belated 10th Anniversary Edition).

Another single-episode
VHS tape (this one from season three, The
Tick vs. Arthur). I wonder why they chose to publish only
two episodes, and how this one was chosen over the others. Who
knows?

Mighty Blue Justice!
This is a
book that is meant to be a scrapbook kept by the Tick (cartoon
Tick) about all of his adventures. I have a copy now and it's
pretty amusing, but not really related to Tick comics at all.

Huh? I don't
know if this is a book or a comic or what. Amazon doesn't even
have a picture of it on the site. Who knows?

Idea Man
This is a
VHS tape of episode 1 (The Tick vs. The Idea
Men) and episode 2 (The Tick vs. Chairface
Chippendale) of the cartoon. I've never actually seen one
in stores anywhere yet, but I have seen them here on Amazon and
on Ebay pretty cheap.

Alright;
I don't know anything about this at all. It seems to be a book
or comic, but it was published by Fox.

I actually
have this one! Of course, the cover on mine doesn't match the
picture above, but we're really close on this one. This is actually
a compilation of the Tick comics issues 1-6 in color. I highly
recommend this to anyone who doesn't have them already (and in
fact a lot of my scans over in the comics area are from this book)

is a small comic published by Fox for small children. I've
seen it in comic book stores but never actually read it.
