Ants
in the Pants!
|
This
episode comes closer than any other to the sanity problems that
The Tick experienced in the comic book series. No, it's not Evanston
Asylum, but after battling Ants in the shape of a human, The
Tick checks himself into Captain Sanity's Superhero Sanitarium.
Captain
Sanity and his assistant, Taft, delve deep into the Tick's psyche
while the ants steal all of the glass in the city. Eventually,
the ants use the glass to build a people farm and a giant magnifying
glass. Of course, the magnifying glass is to fry the people to
get revenge!

Tickisms
The
Tick:
It
started as a great day. No, a super day, perfect in every way;
well, nigh-perfect really.
You know why supervillains are so unhappy, Arthur? They don't
treasure the little things.
Hey! You in the pumps! I say to you, stop being bad!
So, bad lady, fate has put a dead end to your anarchy dabbling!
My mind has always been my Achilles
heel!
Sanity, you're a madman!
Isn't sanity really just a one
trick pony, anyway? I mean, all you get is one trick, rational
thinking! But when you're good and crazy…ooh hoo hoo hoo…the sky's
the limit!
Die
Fledermaus:
Listen,
Fishboy, I told your mom a lot of things!
Of course, they're ant women, right?
Man, she's an uppity ant!
American
Maid:
First,
we find out what they're up to. Then, we stop them.
The
Ants:
Laugh
away, bipeds; soon the joke will be on you!
