The
Tick vs. The Boogie Man
This
episode introduces a strange sorcerer who moves in upstairs from Tick
and Arthur. Tick isn't his usual self, though, and it comes out that
he is being visited each night by the Boogie Man. The Sorcerer chooses
to investigate since Boogie Men can usually only attack children and
he finds that the Boogie Man can attack Tick due to a deep psychological
scar in Tick's psyche; he felt guilty about buring up Little Wooden
Boy.
Tick
eventually has to face his fears and battle a giant, flaming Wooden
Boy while the sorcerer battles the Boogie Man. Tick eventually apologizes
to Little Wooden Boy and manages to reconcile, but not before Arthur
and the sorcerer's wife become good friends (they have a lot in common;
they both live with crazy people).
