The Tick vs. The Big Leagues

This script was reworked for the Live Tick show, but from the sound of it the animated version would have been pretty good. The Tick and Arthur are invited to join the Big Leagues, an elite superhero club. Of course, the leader of the League is also moonlighting as a villain, and he battles the league in order to keep the league's UN funding in place. One other villain from this episode was Mr. Meanwhile; a character who could instantly teleport you anywhere just by putting his hand on your shoulder and saying something like 'Meanwhile, in China...' and Pow! You'd be in China. This episode called for Tick and Arthur to be meanwhiled to Africa, where they're set upon by children looking for handouts. Tick sees the barren landscape and strange people and automatically assumes that they're on the moon, but they're eventually rescued (this might not have made the final cut, though).
